Bio:
Paul S. Peterson III broke into the major leagues with the Giants - his favorite team. He quickly realized that to be successful in the major leagues he would need to sign with a team that needs help at his position. The Giants signed Chipper Jones at the end of the 2008 season so it was a no brainer for Paul S. Peterson III to move on. He signed with the Phillies in 2009 and came close to surpassing Abraham Nunez as the team's top third baseman but was then traded to Florida and then immediately dealt to Detroit. With the Tigers, Paul S. Peterson III finally got a starting job and found hitting triples an easy task in Comerica Park. He led the lead the league with 14 triples in 2018 and then also had 14 triples in 2020. Paul S. Peterson III preferred National League ballparks so when his contract was up with Detroit, he signed with the Braves. He enjoyed his best season with the Braves in 2022 where he became an All Star and won the Gold Glove at third base. In 2025, he hit his 200th home run at AT&T Park. In 2025, Paul S. Peterson III was forced into early retirement because MLB 07 The Show was abandoned for something better...
