Just imagine you are checking your daily boxscores and notice Pedro Guerrero gets injured against Nolan Ryan on a lineout. You check his possible years and notice that out of the five years, his mystery card may fall under ’82, ’85, or ’87. This is good information to have so you’ll need to make a note of it for future reference.
I used to keep notes in notepad like the following:
Guerrero 82,85,87
McRae 79,82
Johnson 91
C,Martinez 85,87
Instead of doing this in Notepad, how about having this information right on the player’s card? With this Greasemonkey script, just click on a bullet icon next to the year. The next time you view the card the icons will be highlighted in red for you.
After the season is over, go to the front office and click on the “Reset Possible Years” link to reset everything back to zero. Now, you are ready for next season.
