MP4

One of the new features added to MLB 09 The Show is the ability to record and store your replays to your PS3 hard drive. This also provides the ability to record the same play multiple times from different camera angles. Here’s how to combine all replays into one and add music to create a movie:

Step 1: Using Riva FLV Encoder

Replays from MLB 09 The Show are stored in MP4 format. Riva FLV Encoder can be used to convert from MP4 to FLV.

I used GSpot to determine the recommended display size: 640 x 368. In Riva FLV Encoder change the Movie Size to 640 x 368 and the Frame rate to 29.97. Uncheck the “Enable Audio” check box. Click Encode.

Step 2: Moyea FLV Editor Lite Beta

Use Moyea FLV Editor Lite Beta to edit, combine, and add music to your FLV files. The Moyea FLV Editor is very straight forward. You just import your FLV files, add them to the time line, trim the video length, and add an MP3 file. That’s it. Your FLV file is ready!
