I hate this game. It’s impossible. The only fun I got out of it was tossing it on the interstate and watching cars run over it. What a waste of 30 bucks.

hitting in this game seems impossible. i would love to juice up my hitting in training, but my advancement goals always tell me to improve useless things.

How can you hit for power in the rookie mode more often. Because their was a streak when i hit 2 homers every day for 4 games. but now i can’t even hit the fence on a hop.

basically, in the regular season mode, why is it that the opposing team at bat always seems to get runs automatically. I mean I am currently 1-5 with the phillies, and it seems to me that, no matter what i can’t win a game. I was up 9 runs and lost in the last two innings. The opposing team always hits the ball either in the gap or down the lines. It is very frustrating, and when I have a guy buried in na 0-2 count… the next thing I notice is that the picher, no matter who it is forgets to throw strikes… then a double in the gap EVEN THE PITCHER!!! HELP

how do i use the promotions in owner mode? it says i dont have any compared to the rest of the league but i cant figure out how to even get them up in order to shedule some?

Yes, MLB 09 allows you to save in mid-game but not when you are playing in RTTS mode. This is fine because you only play when your player is involved in a play so a game usually only takes about 5-10 minutes to finish.

Nice blog for all us stat geeks. Thanks for the follow on Twitter. Does MLB09 allow you to save in mid-game to continue playing later? Probably not. I can’t remember the last time a baseball game offered that feature, but it would be a good one!
